Easy Autumn Pumpkin Wreath Centerpiece

With a handful of affordable supplies from the craft store, you can easily create your own wreath centerpiece that's both elegant and versatile enough to use throughout the season - although it'll look fantastic on your table at Halloween!

What you'll need ~

12" grape vine wreath
8" glass hurricane candle holder (be sure it fits in the center of the wreath)
Orange pillar candle

27-piece box of silk autumn leaves*
62-piece box of mini pumpkins and gourds*
Hot glue gun

How to make it ~

Pick out about a dozen each of the leaves and mini pumpkins/gourds to start. You may wish to use more as you progress, but twelve is a good start.

Let your glue gun heat up, and then bead a thin line along the back of each leaf - try to follow the vertical "vein" in the leaves. Press each leaf (tips pointing outward) gently onto the grape vine wreath, alternating colors if you wish.

When all twelve leaves have been attached, you can decide if you'd like to add any more. Next, bead a small dot of glue on the back of each mini pumpkin/gourd and press firmly into the center of each leaf. You can alternate between pumpkins and gourds or use all of one kind.

When you're done, most of the grape vine wreath should be covered in leaves and pumpkins. If you're satisfied with the result, move on to the next step. Otherwise, add more leaves or pumpkins/gourds as you see fit.

Lastly, place your orange candle in the hurricane glass and set it in the middle of the wreath. You can tie a raffia ribbon around the candle, though you'll probably want to remove it when the candle is lit to avoid a fire hazard.

That's it - a quick and easy autumn pumpkin wreath centerpiece that can be used for years to come!

Other Tips ~

Undoubtedly, you'll have left over leaves and mini pumpkins/gourds. When setting your table for company, try scattering the leaves around each place setting. You can also fill a clear glass vase or bowl with the remaining pumpkins for an extra tabletop accent.
