Pom Pom Tree

This little tabletop pom pom Christmas tree is ridiculously easy to make and super adorable, if I do say so myself! Lately, I've been so inspired by Pinterest and craft blogs to make incredibly elaborate and gorgeous decorations, but then reality set in and I realized I didn't really have the time. So, instead I decided to pursue cute Christmas crafts that are quick and easy. I hope you enjoy this one!

Pom Pom Christmas Tree

What you'll need ~

  • Styrofoam cone
  • Pom poms
  • Glue gun
  • 1" ribbon

How to make it ~

I started at the top of the cone and moved downward. Simply attach your pom poms in an alternating pattern with hot glue. Work your way down toward the bottom, leaving about an inch or so blank. This is where you'll glue your ribbon.

An IndieSpotting Original Project

The cone I bought was kind of flat on top rather than coming to a point, so once the entire cone was covered with pom poms and the ribbon, I had to build up a few layers of pom poms at the top to complete the tree.

Just glue them in a circular pattern and you're all done! Simple, right?
