“Virgin River” renewed for two further seasons on Netflix


The two-season renewal follows the show had strong performances in both seasons two and season three, according to Deadline.
“Virgin River Also, it topped Nielsen’s US streaming charts after racking up 2.1 billion minutes watched over 30 episodes of the show’s initial three seasons.

The show was created in the hands of Sue Tenney, the show is based on Melinda “Mel” Monroe (Breckenridge) who responds to an advertisement for nurse practitioner and midwife located in the far-flung Northern California town of Virgin River and believes it would be the ideal place to begin afresh and forget the painful memories of her past to be forgotten.

However, she soon realizes that living in a small town isn’t as simple as she thought. She has to learn how to recover from herself before she can become a part of making Virgin River her home.

Henderson is Jack Sheridan, a local bar owner, and an ex- US Marine, who suffers from PTSD.

The show also stars Colin Lawrence, Jenny Cooper, Lauren Hammersley, Annette O’Toole, Tim Matheson, Benjamin Hollingsworth, Grayson Gurnsey, Sarah Dugdale, Zibby Allen, and Marco Grazzini.
